Hebou Barramundi's



The Hebou Barramundi's are a squad of 22 contracted players who represent Papua New Guinea at the international level.
This team has a strong culture that is reflective of the diverse nation they represent and a rich tradition built upon consistent strong performances at international level.
The Hebou Barramundi's have dominated the International Cricket Council East Asia Pacific Development region since its inception and are currently ranked 19th in the world.

At World Cricket League Division Two Tournament in Dubai, U.A.E (April, 2011)  the Barramundi's went through the league stage with 3 wins from 5 games to finish 3rd in the league stage.  The Barramundi's then played off for 3rd place against their fierce rival Hong Kong and beat them by 127 runs to finish 3rd in the tournament. By finishing third in the tournament the Hebou Barramundi's remain in Division 2 along with Hong Kong.

The Barramundi's aim to achieve One Day International Status when they will compete in the World Cricket League Division Two tournament that will be held in 2013.
